Chelsea Toledo is a public health advocate and trained science writer based out of Atlanta, GA. She is currently Associate Director of Communications & Development at The Task Force for Global Health, promoting the work of the Neglected Tropical Diseases Support Center. She previously worked in Washington, DC, as Senior Associate, Communications at The Pew Charitable Trusts, contributing to the institution's advocacy for biomedical research, antibiotic resistance, and the safety of our food and drug supplies.
Chelsea holds two graduate degrees:
Master of Public Health (MPH) from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, with a concentration in Prevention Science
Master of Arts (MA) in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, with a concentration in Health & Medical Journalism
